Tumble Tots
Lucy started gymnastics this weekend. She LOVED it. She tumbled, jumped, danced, stood still and waited her turn. She was the first to volunteer for everything and she mostly listened to the teacher. There is a ballet class right before the gymnastics class and since they're each only thirty minutes long I'm thinking I may sign her up for the ballet too and make it an hour total. I've been super eager to get her into a ballet class even though she always chooses gymnastics when given options. Why do I want her in ballet so bad? Cause y'all- I want to see that tushie and belly in some tights and a leotard to bad I can hardly stand it.
Baby Shower
Our friend Mandie is expecting a baby! Sex and name TBD. Haden and Lucy were very excited to celebrate with her- and to help her eat her chocolate cake. It was a very nice shower and we appreciate her putting up with two tired and sugar-afied three year olds. Hopefully, we'll see Mandie and baby Respess again very soon!
Valentine
Yes, I realize that it is mid-March and this is a bit late, but we're busy busy people folks. This year Lucy's Papa made her this giant valentine. It was quite the surprise as she was not expecting a valentine from her Papa. I think she liked it.
Uncle Drew
Uncle Drew has been in Afghanistan for many months. He came home for R&R about a month ago. So much for the rest and relaxation. We made him be the pony for awhile.
What a good sport.
Tea Party
Tea Party in February with a pretty bunch of ladies to celebrate Aunt Emily's birthday.
Lucy got to use a pretty little tea cup for her tea. Note- monkey Jill peeping over the edge of the table.
