The slow realization that I'm not as powerful/important as she thought
I was off today.
Watching the channel where I work Luz says "how are the doing the news"?
I say "what?"
She says "how are the doing it? You are here."
I had to confess that they can do it without me sometimes.

Combined Traits
Random parenting thought of the day. Are we nature or nurture?
From his parents Wes has developed skepticism regarding medicine and will not take an Advil without over thinking it.
From my parents I have inherited a deep mistrust of the dishwasher. There's no way that thing is going to get all that off of this plate. So I pre-wash everything before putting it in the dishwasher.
Should Lucy inherit both of these traits it could very well result in her never leaving her kitchen due to untreated OCD.
