Mommy's Birthday Present
Wes and Lucy were late getting home on Wednesday. I asked Lucy "where have you guys been?"
"I can't tell you."
"Really? I may have to tickle it out of you."
"Ok, we were at the Chocolate store."
Wes interrupts "Lucy! Don't tell her that!"
Lucy corrects "We went to the farmer's market but we didn't get anything because we forgot our bags."
Clearly, the in-car coaching kicked in a little late on that one. I promise to act surprised.
