Lucy's Drawer

I cleaned out the bottom drawer in the kitchen this morning then ran into the living room to pick out a few toys to put in for the next time Lucy decided to explore it and when I got back this is the scene that greeted me. She can't walk yet, but she can climb! I guess I'm just glad I took the food processor blades out of that drawer! Lucy will provide her consulting services for a fee. If you need to know what you need to baby-proof in your home we'll bring her over and set her loose for 10 minutes. She will find all the hazardous items and places as well as all the dirt you didn't realize was around. Her consulting fee is $250 or a bag of goldfish.

David's Wedding (Beverly Hills Plumpy)

Last weekend we went to LA for the big Podemski wedding. Due to the timing we couldn't stay long so the plumpynut had to endure 2 cross country flights in 3 days, and total schedule scramble, most of which she handled with aplomb. But she had an entourage the entire time and had a pretty good time. unfortunately I didnt do a great job with the photography this time, but here are a few.

Reading

Lucy loves to read. She mostly likes books with pictures or things you can touch and feel- but every once in awhile she likes to tackle something with more substance. Of course if you're going to read Senator John McCain's book it's best in the nude.

Pigtails and a Chair

This weekend in LaGrange I experimented with Lucy's hair a little and produced these cute pigtails. However, she has a small bald spot on her crown and the pigtails just accented it so until the hair grows back- no more pigtails. She also got to sit in a little chair at Mimsy's house. It was the perfect size for a plumpynut!
