shhh- shoe (I found her pulling all my shoes out of my closet the other day exclaiming shoe!, shoe!, shoe!)

taa que- thank you (you have to prompt her to get either please or thank you- we're working on it)

cull- cool

ow wow- bow wow (as in bow wow wow, whose dog art thou?)

boo- book

mommie- mommy (FINALLY!!!)

oocy- lucy (I've heard her say it twice)

also of note:

bea- bear

che- cheese (she's more like her mother every day)

and she occasionally points a toy or some other object at you and shouts "Bee Bee Bee Bee!" We have no idea what this means.

Vocabulary Update

Lucy is going to wear a beautiful smocked dress that my Aunt Charlsey made for Easter.  It has a matching bonnet so we're practicing wearing the bonnet in hopes that it will spend more time on her head than on the floor on Easter Sunday.  She loved wearing it.  If it fell off she would bring it to me so I could put it back on her and when I took it to put it away- she cried.

But now onto the subject of the post.  We're in need of a vocabulary update.  I've decided to make this one a game though.  I'm going to list the words she says as she says them and see if you guys can figure out what they are.  In a couple of days I'll post the answers.

Under the Big Top

Lucy and Haden went to see the Circus!  They graciously allowed me, Danielle and Kevin to tag along.  It was quite a site to see.  I would classify it firmly under "overstimulation."
