Mommy made a mistake.
Lucy loves my keys and every afternoon when I pick her up from daycare I have to wrestle them away from her. This often leaves her crying and cranky for the rest of the car ride home. Today in an effort to bypass the fussing I made a trade with her. I gave her a bottle of baby powder thinking that since it had never been opened there would be an aluminum seal under the cap preventing spillage.
I was wrong.

I was afraid the mistake was going to be that Lucy got herself locked in the car! I was relieved to find it that the white hair was not from fear but baby powder!

Actually the powder around her head looks a little like a halo to me-- I knew she was an angel!
I signed mine as AuntieM but they put me as "anonomous" - how disheartening for someone nervous about computering to begin with!

We are still finding baby powder everywhere! I had to hose out the care seat. It still wasn't completely dry this morning so I had to put plastic on it for Lucy to sit in it on the way to daycare.
Lucy thought the whole thing was quite hilarious.

I was just wondering who the blond baby was in the photo!!! At least this gives you an idea about what lucy as a blond would look like:)
